We host Weekly Open Days every Thursday during term so you can see the school in action, meet our teachers, and ask every question you have. Two sessions available:

Once you are ready to proceed, your child will spend three days with us. This is not a pass/fail test — it is an opportunity for your child to experience Ambleside life, and for us to understand who they are and how we can best serve them. The assessment fee is R850, credited towards your enrolment deposit if you proceed.
Alongside the assessment, you will complete an application form. We ask about your family, your child, and your hopes for their education. This conversation matters to us.
After the assessment, we meet with you to share our feedback — what we observed, where your child is, and how we believe Ambleside can support them. If we are a mutual fit, we will extend a formal offer of placement. You will have time to consider it carefully before accepting.
We are honest if we feel the school is not the right fit, and we ask that families are equally honest with us. A good match serves everyone.
To confirm your child’s place, a refundable enrolment deposit of R4,500 is required. Stationery is billed separately at R2,500 per year. Once confirmed, you will receive a welcome pack with everything you need to prepare for your child’s first day. We look forward to welcoming your family.
